Yolanda is a Chinese Patent Attorney and a Chinese Patent Litigator who can represent clients before the courts in China. She has over 12 years of IP experience, including 10 years at Eagle IP.
Yolanda oversees the China patent prosecution team at Eagle IP and focuses on advising foreign and local clients on patent rights, portfolio management and strategy worldwide. Besides her bioengineering specialization, Yolanda also has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patents in a wide range of technologies including nanofabrication technology, material science, control system, IT technology, and mechanical technology. Her practice includes patent invalidation oral hearings before the Patent Review Board (PRB) at CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration, formerly SIPO). Yolanda is also a team leader in handling patent prosecution in China.
Before beginning her IP career in 2008, Yolanda worked in academic research in the area of DNA on-chip detection utilizing CMOS technology. Her research has been published in several academic journals such as IEEE Trans. on Electron Devices and presented at academic conferences such as IEEE International Electron Device Meeting.
Yolanda’s areas of expertise include bioengineering, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicine, material science, control systems, IT technology, mechanical technology, and nanofabrication technology.
