Pauli is a Chinese Patent Attorney and has been at Eagle IP for over 8 years. Pauli oversees the patent drafting team at Eagle IP, and also manages global patent prosecution for her clients. She drafts and prosecutes patent applications in a wide range of technology areas including biology, biotechnology, medical devices, chemistry, engineering, and material science for local and international clients in Hong Kong and the US.

Before jumping into the patent world, Pauli gained a rich portfolio of technical experience in R&D, method development and validation in the areas of chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, proteomics, and chemistry from her previous positions at CK Life Sciences Limited. Pauli also worked in a HOKLAS accredited lab, was familiar with ISO 17025 and was an approved signatory for microbiological tests in food at International Food Safety Testing Centre Limited, a subsidiary of CK Life Sciences.

Pauli has a strong life science foundation, from her Bachelors degree in Animal and Plant Biotechnology (B.Sc.) to her M.Phil. degree in Biology from The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Her research at HKU involved heterologous expression of a recombinant metallothionein gene from a water plant in yeast.
